Furoshiki shiki

The Furoshiki shiki series consists of a number of multifunctional cases in several sizes made of a semi-transparent vinyl in fluorescent colours.  Like the SAN KAKU MADO series, this Furoshiki style is designed by Samira Boon and made in Japan. The articles are made of one sheet of vinyl that is easily folded into a folder, slipcover or bag using the adhesive quality of the material: no zipper or button is needed! The material is easy to clean and very durable.

Samira Boon designed this collection during the years she lived and worked in Japan. She was inspired by the Japanese art of folding and wrapping. Furoshiki refers to a length of fabric used in the Japanese tradition for wrapping gifts, lunchboxes and other articles. The Furoshiki shiki has been internationally acclaimed for more than ten years.
